Jenny Dixon to star on RTE's Nationwide...

Posted by TalentBase News on January 06 2012 @ 18:20

Jenny Dixon Headshot Nationwide

RTE's Nationwide is to get a touch of Xpose-like glamour, with the news that TalentBase star Jenny Dixon is soon to make a guest appearance on the programme, one of the national broadcaster's most-watched shows.

Dixon is to present a report on next week’s BT Young Scientist event at the RDS - a perfect fit for the Dublin biology teacher.

Dixon first hit the headlines when she was invited to party with Hugh Hefner and other celebrities at the Playboy mansion.

Dixon told the Evening Herald:  “I was delighted to get a call from Nationwide to come on and talk about it, as I am involved heavily in both the BT Young Scientist & Technology event as well as Intel's SciFest competitions.

"I am anxious to have that side of me out there, it's more respectful and more serious. But, of course, science doesn't have to be dull, in fact it's far from it, it's why I love events like this and the students."
